We watched the Homecoming parade in town,

went to Helen's for fireworks, bonfire & food.. stayed until 1:00 am.

The next day, we walked the Grand Trunk Trail & Bridge, played in the falls, got ice cream, and stayed up to all hours of the night :).... and of course laughed until our stomaches hurt :D

The Beach Weekend Adventure

Tis an old fable that when the fog comes rollin' in,

strange things are afoot... and aye, how true that be,

sure as ye'll always find a pirate in the sand dunes

at least that's how's its always happened before

We had a great time hanging out at "The Cottage", having a final girls weekend before the wedding.

The Guests arrive....(yes, this was a big affair :D ...lots of fun) Everyone had their picture taken with the bride to be... first off, our lovely hostess...who graciously allows all kinds of shenanigans --like sawing in the living room.....

Then, sitting down to eat....

Then came the Fashion show, gifts, and dessert....although we don't seem to have any pictures of the dessert...Kie Lime Pie....that's because we ate them.

The PINEAPPLES!!!! Shelly went to the dollar store to get the outfits, and the clerk asks her "Do you really think your dog will wear these?" Haha, nope, dressing pineapples... The Blue Pineapple couple are Joel & Rachel.
