Early Morning Rush

Coffee...check... 3 lunches made...check...head back to bed ;)... well, maybe not completely back to bed...but I may have just drank my coffee and called my sister while sitting in bed.  *happy sigh*

And then the clock struck the last hour.  Yikes!  I whizzed around like a helicopter on an adrenaline rush, mushing through my "To Do" list like the world was ending.

-Wipe counters
- Clean Oven (I had pre-cleaned it last night, I only had to wipe it out.  But wiping out an oven is not easy! rags upon rags! [insert confession: I used paper towel. From Costco. Good Deal. Saves Laundry. Etc])
- Take Shower
- Do hair (thankfully, my students don't mind the Ping Hair Do - little kids are so obliging)
- Make own luncho
- Prepare snacks
- Upload lesson
- And sign into the lesson

Not bad for a morning!  But now we are to where the reality hits.  Due to an office error, I now have 9 hours straight of teaching/tutoring, no breaks from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. !!!

HOW in the WORLD am I blogging????  Well, my first student has not shown up as of yet, so I decided to blog.  I should probably be writing teacher-student progress reports, or unloading the dishwasher, or perhaps even paperwork... but as she will be on in any moment.... blogging called the loudest.

Tonight, I am hoping for cordon bleu for supper, and the odds are good, because Daniel has promised to make it for supper... No Frills had a sale for cordon bleu :)  $1 per pack instead of $4.99 !  #sale  hehe

When Summer Comes

Image result for hand painted roses meadow

Peaceful meadows, gentle breezes
Caressing each wisp of hair
Silent grasses, waving, dancing,
Sounds of little creatures prancing
Wishful hopes, and sleepy memories
Oh, for Summer to be here!

Today, I might be just a little guilty of wishing for past days of summer, when it seemed, we girls spent our time reading, planning tea parties, and teasing each other of prince charming.
So many dreams, so much laughter, and such good memories.

The winter winds have not yet given up, as often happens in Southwestern Ontario.  This past weekend was cold and windy, with a touch of snow/ice. So, I took the opportunity to clean out all of my kitchen cupboards, wash and re-organize.  What a mess the dishes made! Completely worth it, and now the kitchen is sparkling.  And I am very pleased.

Next weekend is expected to be 70 F. (Yes, warmer temperatures are forever Fahrenheit in my mind.) So, maybe I will manage to squeeze in a little suntan time while helping Rachel move.

"The Time Had Come... So Marvin Went"

When I was a little girl, around 3 years old, we had this book about 'a guy who wouldn't go.'  I couldn't read, but I had most of the book memorized!  Mom and Dad must have read it countless times to me.  The book was called Marvin K Mooney, by Dr. Seuss.  For some reason, never explained, the person telling the story (represented by a hand with a watch) wanted Marvin to leave. Marvin must have been being very annoying, because the person was so exasperated with poor Marvin.

Marvin K Mooney
I don't care how
Marvin K Mooney
Will you please go now!

Well, the stubborn little guy didn't go, even with all the suggestions of how to go, and illustrations showing the possibility of each, Marvin stayed.  And then, at the end, Marvin went. Unceremoniously, he just up and left.  To a small child the change was startling (every time), why did Marvin go?  The only explanation given was:
The time had come... So Marvin went.

Well, it was a cute story that illustrated to me that there was a time to go and a time to stay.  Marvin was both stubborn and compliant.  The question that was never solved was "How did Marvin know the time had come?"

I haven't written in awhile, because I was pretty much told that no one wanted to read it.  Now, I don't give in easily, so I continued to write for awhile - besides, I wasn't writing for an audience.  I honestly don't know who reads this- if any.... blogging isn't as popular as it once was.  Next, someone told me that my writing showed that I thought I was better than others - that gave me pause.  Then, I was told I my choice of music was archaic (that one could be true).  So, I stopped. I don't remember giving up. I just quit one day.   I didn't leave because it was time to go, I just left.

Recently, I was asked why I had stopped blogging and would I continue? At the time, I remember making the comparison (yes, in my adult mind) to Marvin.  I was like Marvin; the time had come, so I went.  I had said my piece and I was no longer a blogger.  But, I was left questioning my rational - was I really like Marvin?  Is that even a legitimate comparison?

Well, I am back.  Maybe the time hasn't come, or maybe I am not like Marvin.  As, I begin to write again, I now have two  more questions to answer.  1. Why did I stop?   2. Why did I come back?   More on that in the next post.... because the time has come .... for today.

Only Me, on My Knees...

As I was posting items to Etsy, I was listening to random youtube music videos, when the playlist began to play "Holy" by Nichole Nordeman from the WOW 2003 Hits.  Can you believe how long ago that was?  I can't, I truly can't.

Her voice brought so many memories flooding back, I remember sitting staring out my bedroom window, the pink flowered wallpaper contrasted the deep green foliage of the beautiful wild garden below.  I contemplating the lyrics, appreciating her perspective.

Today, I was arrested by one line "and all you wanted - only me, on my knees..."  she said "singing", I thought "praying".   Lost on the rabbit trails of my mind, I missed the remainder of the song to simply re-hear "somehow, all that matters now is ... you... and all you ever wanted, only me on my knees."

I realized that is what He wants.  He wants us to petition Him, to ask of Him, to kneel before Him in thanksgiving.  Do we really take prayer seriously?  How easy it is to forget!

Sweet hour of prayer!...That calls me from a world of care,
...In seasons of distress and grief, My soul has often found relief..
And oft escaped the tempter’s snare...with such I hasten to the place
Where God my Savior shows His face....And since He bids me seek His face,
...I’ll cast on Him my every care,

Untill,...I view my home and take my flight...And shout, while passing through the air, “Farewell, farewell, sweet hour of prayer!”

As Death Gives way to Victory

"...I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives!"

Today, I was reading through the Daily Mail when I saw, and read, the most tragic report on Iraq.  The headline read "ISIS executes 19 girls for refusing to have sex with fighters."  I wanted to turn away, I wanted to close my eyes - I didn't want to read it.

Yet, I couldn't turn a blind eye.

The article didn't specify how many, if any, of these girls were Christians, but the price list for buying a girl for such purposes, specifically mentions Christians.  I thought about those poor girls, so scared, so sickened, so alone.  I hope they all knew Christ as their Saviour.  Those who did are already with their Lord, their tears and sorrows have vanished, they are no longer dressed in earthly white robes, but in heavenly ones.  No one can touch them there.

When I finished the article, I thought of the line of the hymn "As death gives way to Victory."  For those who are Christians, their death has turned to victory.  A Victory that ISIS can never comprehend.  A Victory that can never be lost.

God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;

He came to love, heal and forgive;

He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!

Chorus
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!

And then one day, I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain;
And then, as death gives way to victory,
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives!

This Side of the Looking Glass

So many times, as a single woman, you ask yourself if you really know your purpose in life.   For me, those early foggy fall mornings on the way to work envelope me with questions of identity and purpose.  Is life really about getting married?  Does it bring fulfillment different then what I have now?  Is that what my true purpose is?  But what if I never marry...I most likely won't... should I go work at an orphanage?  Why do we always think orphanage?  I just don't want to be a lonely, bitter, aimless old lady.

***

My thoughts drifted to my closest guy friend.  He was the closest thing to a best friend I could imagine in a guy. We could talk. Pretty much about anything.  Recently, it had become increasingly different.  Little things, nothing too spectacular, just a closeness that wasn't there before. He started to like me in a different way, or maybe he always had.  I too had been changing, or noticing change, I don't know.  Did I like him?  Maybe. Yes.  I loved him in someway, but I wasn't planning on this.  Was this right?

***

The rain was very fitting.  Streams of silver droplets poured down my windshield, side mirror, and even when I looked at the pavement, the red reflection of the stop light shone ugly on the dank, dark, slimy tarmac.  I sighed.  Yes, the rain was very fitting.  It was crying for me.  Crying instead of me.  I couldn't cry, I was too tired.  Too weary.  Just dull inside.  Was I grieving? No, not really.  Depressed really.  I didn't have anything to cry about and I knew it.  He had asked to make it more serious, and changed his mind.  It was over.  I laughed softly, almost bitterly, to myself.  Whatever it was.  Somehow, I knew we were still friends, but now forever at a distance.

Why had I gotten myself into this? Why did I let this happen?  What I am to do now? What does life hold?  The orphanage seemed far away and yet somehow maybe the only road.  Tibet. Tibet was far.
Now, why in the world - Tibet?  I asked myself.  And realized it wasn't Tibet, Nigeria, or overseas that lay on my heart - it was my own selfish wish to ease an ache that clung to my heart and cried out to my brain.  I could hear it's pitiful wail - "I'm broken! Broken in two! Pity with me, for no one can fix this now."

No, I said to my miserable heart, You are not broken. Maybe bruised, definitely tired, but not broken. Besides, I knew that God is the healer of the broken in heart, and He is only one and He was in control.  Since the beginning of my friendship (years), I had been praying - calling out to God to direct, stop, or help, whichever it was we needed.  This I knew. God was in control and it was the only thing I could cling to.

***

To be continued.....

I am contemplating writing a book, but am not sure exactly how to start, so I think I will draw on my own experiences, and maybe work in the details of my heritage and past that is full of strange little stories, real heart breaks, mystery, and of course romance.  And here I have decided to practice.
Maybe, I will indeed be able to write and finish writing this book:

Summer fun with Isabel :)

Isabel came for a week (we both look forward to when she can visit for another week!), these are the only two pictures I remembered to take.   Isn't it a fun looking party?  We had marble foot massages in the kiddie pool and ate random stuff for lunch. The week was full of dollar-store-runs and crafts - oh and not to forget, TONS of How To Train Your Dragon 1 & 2 and tv episodes. :)  Needless to say, "Gronkle" was repeatedly floating around my head.....my vocabulary was a little sad....but we had fun!

My answer to 60 tips that will change a Girl's Life

One small step for girls, one giant leap for womankind.  My response to this blog post entitled 60 tips that can change a girls life.
http://herrickalexisc1.wordpress.com/2014/03/26/60-little-tips-that-can-change-a-girls-life/

  1. Download a banking app, better yet, download a budget app. (See budget options here)
  2. Drink more herbal tea. Agreed, it certainly relaxes you and is so healthy.
  3. Making your own coffee/tea instead of buying it will make you a rich woman. Most definitely.
  4. Always have at least 2 open chapsticks, and one closed at home (too many tend to waste)
  5. Check out thrift stores. Ah! I buy so many of my skirt at thrift shops. (See thrift shopping here)
  6. Buy good jeans at a good price.  While cheaply made jeans wear out, you don't need to pay alot for jeans.  (See Cool places to shop
  7. Buy cheap sunglasses instead.  So true, as long as they are UV protected.
  8. Don’t chase boys!!!!!!!!!
  9. Wear slippers when you have to drive in heels, a pair of soft slippers in a slipper bag is a good idea.
  10. Wear layers! i.e., carry a sweater or hoodie if you are wearing a t-shirt, and layer winter clothes, so you can remove your sweater if it gets to warm in a room. ( Even in summer? You could fill a novella with the times I ended up at a bonfire in the summer wanting my hoodie and not having it. )
  11. Not so big on slippers so:  Smile wherever you go
  12. Say a kind word whenever you possibly can (without being akward :P )
  13. "Spend a little extra money on your make up?" well, I do and don't.  I buy any eye makeup at the dollar store, because I both rarely use it and find it works fine.  But, I spend money on good concealer and blush, my sensitive skin loves it.
  14. Get running sneakers that are actually effective and not just cute.
  15. NEVER go to bed with your make up on.
  16. "Get like a thousand packs of make up wipes, because they work the best." Haha, very true, but 1,000? really?  A couple packs from the dollar store is usually good.
  17. Have a bottle of water on hand, a water bottle is
  18. Don't always be listening to music, take time to walk and think, or if you have the earphones, listen to the audio Bible - You Version App for android is really good!
  19. Don't choose girls vs guys, its way more fun to mingle.  Girl time is good, boyfriend time is good, but as Christians we should fellowship with each other. Besides, why are you dating a guy that you figure will be gone in a bit?!
  20. Get a bra that fits well, and maybe a bra butterfly to tie back the straps.
  21. Wash your face.
  22. THE DOLLAR TREE is ABSOLUTELY great.  So is Dollar Tree - know your merchandise.
  23. Never feel you have to paint your nails to feel beautiful, clean nails are nice nails.  If you paint, be sure its for fun, not a crutch.
  24. Eat something healthy for breakfast - example a smoothie or an apple or a orange....best yet half of a grapefruit :)
  25. Make a summer playlist for when you need to walk in the cold and start actually getting depressed. Hymns are wonderful anti-depressants :)
  26. Get a super awesome coffee mug. :D
  27. Realize that you don't need any lipstick.  You are beautiful
  28. Don't even date a guy who doesn't know better than to take you such places as a dingy resturant or bar - Seriously!
  29. Never try dieting pills or fads. It’s all a bunch of garbage, just be healthy, or better yet, "moderation in all things".
  30. Call your mom when you need help. Yes indeed.
  31. Forget name brands. No one really cares, and you will have three times the wardrobe to choose from if you shop at Tj Maxx and Marshalls first. - Actually, try Target, the second hand store, and Outlet stores - they often beat both TJMaxx and Marshalls.
  32. Your friends don't need to like your favorite TV show - friends should be friends because you care about them and they about you!
  33. See Above, your friends are individuals and one of my best friends is gluten intolerant and I love bread.  See?  would be ridiculous to have to have a friend who ate what you eat
  34. There is this amazing invention called “boob tape” to wear with strapless dresses ... ah yes, apparently it works great most of the time - wear straps?  Modesty and comfort are more valuable
  35. Ask for a white coat underneath the color when you get your nails done and the color you wanted looks so much more vibrant. hmmm interesting....not sure as I haven't tried it.
  36. Never spend too much time crying over a boy.  Definitely, God is in control, take comfort that He knows best and wants to save you from making the wrong decision.
  37. Order the dressing or sauce on the side ladies. You’d be amazed at the difference.
  38. Always try clothing on before you buy it. Don’t even try to reason with yourself, “Well I don’t need to try this on”, yes you do.
  39. Drink as much water as humanly possible.
  40. One foundation does not fit all. Your skin is unique; so spend the time to get a foundation that doesn’t look like you just smudged your face with paint.
  41. Use your iCalendar or google calendar on your phone for reminders. It sends you emails and will give you instant organization.
  42. Get a microwaveable heat pad. Your cramps and back will thank you for the rest of your days. Or take a warm bath with Epsom salts :)
  43. The best remedy for a broken heart is taking it to the Lord.  He is the healer of broken hearts Psalms 147:3
  44. Stock your car, desk, and bags with hand sanitizer.
  45. Keep Advil in your purse for your every day headaches.
  46. Band-Aids too, heels are beautiful little monsters.
  47. Befriend store associates because they actually will help you. Most of the time. But don't buy it if you are feeling unsure - they also work on commission.
  48. Just go with butter popcorn ....
  49. Exercise when you’re stressed out.
  50. You can and will never have too many pairs of underwear. Welll.... we get the point, but ah, yes, you can have too many.
  51. Find the perfect moisturizer.
  52. Accessories are great fun.
  53. Take bubble baths with Epsom salts, but only take the bubbles if you can handle standard soap in delicate regions.
  54. Have a granola bar on hand at all times.
  55. Read as much as you can for your own enjoyment. And don't forget to read your Bible.
  56. Look natural in photos and smile with your teeth. Don’t do that weird grimace smile; your teeth are perfect just the way they are.
  57. If you are sick you need a doctor or dentist. It’s incredibly important to take care of your body and to know the difference of when you need help and when you don't.
  58. Get your beauty sleep.
  59. Use hand lotion.
  60. Make chocolate chip pancakes when ever possible.  haha or muffins ;)

Grapefruit, Life, & all such news

So, lately many people have been asking me how life is going, how we are, how our marriage is, etc... sometimes into strange awkward questions, or those looks that are "looking deeper". :)
I know they all mean well, and I have been guilty of the same  - if not actually asking, definitely thinking it.  Yet, it always seems they are assuming the answer isn't going to be positive.  Makes me almost chuckle.  Yes, we are fine, happy, busy, and in general enjoying life.

And there you have it.  As dear Anne remarked in Anne of Green Gables, quoting that famous poem by Browning

Anne's horizons had closed in since the night she had sat there after coming home from Queen's; but if the path set before her feet was to be narrow she knew that flowers of quiet happiness would bloom along it. The joy of sincere work and worthy aspiration and congenial friendship were to be hers; nothing could rob her of her birthright of fancy or her ideal world of dreams. And there was always the bend in the road!"`God's in his heaven, all's right with the world,'" whispered Anne softly."

You may be wondering at the grapefruit.  Well, this morning we were eating large pink flesh grapefruits for breakfast and I was thinking how utterly delicious the round yellow fruit was, when I realized.  I am content, wonderfully content, no more and more less content than before I was married. Just content, enjoying simple things that afore generations may not have had the privilege.
(Grapefruit wasn't a Upper Canada breakfast in 1802.)

I am not sure if Anne was ever mentioned of having eaten grapefruit in the books, but if she could have tasted my, I am sure she would have pronounced some lovely exclamation.

Thanksgiving !

Our first Thanksgiving at our home, complete with a roasted turkey and trimmings. I truly love turkey.

We stayed simple with the trimmings, opting for roasted carrots with brown sugar, nibblet corn, stuffing, and asparagus, of course, we also had gravy, mashed potatoes, and turkey.

I think perhaps the turkey was the best part, juicy, evenly roasted, and it tasted even better the next day!  However, I feel it would be a huge disservice to take credit for the turkey.  While I did prepare the bird, I owe Laura Vitale at Laura's Kitchen on You Tube.  Her bird is amazing!

Thank you Laura! Check out her channel on you tube and her website here http://www.laurainthekitchen.com/

Our Wedding

"Perhaps, after all, romance did not come into one's life with pomp and blare,... perhaps it crept to one's side like an old friend through quiet ways;... perhaps. . . perhaps. . .love unfolded naturally out of a beautiful friendship, as a golden-hearted rose slipping from its green sheath.
                                 ~ L. M. Montgomery

While reading the "Anne" books as a young girl, I remember thinking that if ever I had the choice, that I would like to fall in love in the above manner.  Although I assumed I would meet the dark, mysterious stranger and after a whirlwind romance be carried off into the sunset, I harboured hope of a long time friendship.  Today, I look on recently past years and smile how that very hope became a reality, and it did creep to my side.  Love & romance come in different ways and diverse manners, but for me it unfolded in a manner that best suited us.  I am thankful to be married to my best friend.

Tonight, Tonight may all be well

Dusk has fallen, clouds cloak the darkened sky, a raindrop splatters and silently continues down the pane. As a hilltop gives view of the landsceap, my view is not far different.  Tonight is a night that novels hold for tears, but real life seldom holds to novels, and tonight we are warm.

There is a warm and gentle atmosphere
About the form of one we love, and thus
As in a tender mist our spirits are
Wrapped in the of that which is to us
The health of life’s own life--

~Percy Bysshe Shelley

Isaiah 41:10

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Is 41:10

Yesterday.  Just one more of those days that feel like weight hanging around your neck.
When a friend of mine texted me this verse, I held back tears.  How much I needed to remember!
I think the part I noticed most strongly was "for I am thy God".

~ Fear thou not.~

Autumn Colors & Projects

Today was especially overcast, almost looked like 5:00 pm in December by mid afternoon.  The rain came this evening, bringing with it the first hints of fall.  The smell in the air is amazing as the city snuggles up quietly in the dusk.  Only the occasional sound of swooshing tires can be heard, and the sound of a steady breeze.

As I sit in our warm, cozy apartment, I am continually amazed at how quiet this city is. (At least it seems our southeastern corner is quiet.) I am writing during a quick break before delving into food preparation.  Adventure awaits as I try turning grape nut cereal into something other than cereal, but that will have to be covered in a different post.

Some of you know of my current furniture make over.  I am please to announce all the chairs are stained and our entry-way table.   Aunt Nancy gave it to me before we were married.  The table top had big circle stains.  Here is an after shot :)

Touch ups of a Dining Room Set

Current project: touching up chairs.  I am currently working on 6 chairs from my husband's Grandmother's dining room set.  Hoping to make them look like new! (Well, old to match the china cabinet, and new without any dings and scratches.

A Little Nugget of Gold

Courtship consists in a number of quiet attentions,
not so pointed as to alarm, nor so vague as not to be understood.
Laurence Sterne

But because the Lord loved you,...the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you.
Deut 7:8

I was struck today by the gentleness, yet powerful purposefulness of our God.  When I read this quote on courtship, it reminded me of the quiet ways God works in our lives: "a number of quiet attentions, not so pointed as to alarm, nor so vague as to not be understood."   We tend to notice the big changes, traumatic events, whirlwind changes, failures, successes, and big miracles, but do we notice unobtrusive guidence, the gentle guidance?   The next time your life seems to be stuck, not moving, unchanged, uneventful, maybe even just boring, look at it as "a number of quiet attentions."

BELT

B.E.L.T

Today, I decided to stop at Tim Hortons on my way to work.  When Daniel & I stop for breakfast at Tim Hortons, we usually get a B.E.L.T (Bacon, Egg, Lettuce, Tomato, and Cheese) .  (Yes, it dawned me that the cheese doesn't get significant reference, but more on that later....)   Somehow, whenever Daniel orders, the food is a-ma-zing,  but when I order, its average.  Grant it, I don't think Tim Hortons is to blame for that.

However, today, the food was average.   Good, but not estounding, and I almost had to pay double for it!  I like to order the B.E.L.T  with out egg, for $3.59.  Today, I place my order and there is some kerfluffle about how to bill it.  "We will have to bill it as a BLT, ok?"   I consented, slightly confused.   $4.19 came up on the screen.   "Wait," I asked the attendent, "Why is it more expensive?"  "There is more bacon on the BLT"  was my answer.

The thought of extra bacon made me want to cancel breakfast, so I protested.  "No," said I, "I order the B.E.L.T without egg, because I don't want extra bacon."   So, they re-rang it up again at $3.59.  As I pulled up to the window, I could see their puzzeled and unbelieving eyes.   Why couldn't she just have a BLT?

I drove away wondering that myself.  Why didn't I just get a BLT?  It has what, 3 pieces of bacon comapared to the B.E.L.T's 2 pieces?  I mean, it seems kind of steep to pay .60 cents for one piece of bacon, yet it's not the end of the world.   I took a bite of my sandwhich, enjoying the lovely taste of lettuce, tomato, bacon, and cheese.

Cheese.   In the same moment, I remembered the cheese.  The attendant said it was the same no matter how they billed it, but that's not true.   Tim Horton's regular BLT doesn't have cheese!!!!  I almost paid .60 cents for a piece of bacon and wouldn't even have the cheese!   Take about an expensive sandwich!!

Techinically, it was only .60 cents without cheese, no big deal, right?  Well, this fiesty gal thought it was worth mentioning, but it was less about the money.   The big question really is about getting what you want.  When should we protest and get what we want, and when should we just let it go?   I'm not really talking about Tim Hortons, but more about abortions, gun control, internet censorship, social expectations, among a few.  Should we stand up for what we believe?  When is it right to fight and protest, and when is it just obnoxious?

BLTC = Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese

Early Morning Thoughts

Some days, my waking moments are hazy, befuddled, and generally nonsensical.  I wander around as I get ready.  I can't find anything - I'm generally lost in the morning fog.

But other days, like this morning are clear, crystal clear.  A checklist is formulated immediately, and excuted forth efficiently.  Check, check, check and out into the peaceful morning air.

Well sort of - today was raining.  Rain has been falling for several days.  I must confess the rain is a welcome change from snow, and the smell of fresh air is exhilarating.  Looking down at my brown leather riding boots stepping along the submerged stone pathway, I realize how much I am blest.

Warm feet, clean air, much water, and lovely boots are just a shadow of the true blessings.  Freedom to be yourself and friendships trusted-true, now those are blessings.  A life guided by the Saviour, our Saviour, is more precious than anything.

I think all these rambling thoughts came of thinking about coming changes in my life.  Recently, there came into my life one of the nicest surprises, my best friend asked me to share his life with him.  The wedding is scheduled for May, for which there is much anticipation.

Now my absence is explained, and this is a wedding announcement of sorts.  In some near future, I hope to post a picture.  In any case, as the final count down begins, you will find me scurrying about, trying not to follow rabbit trails.... but  then again, adventures only take a moment, perhaps a rabbit trail is calling.

45 days and counting down....

Closet Inventory = HELP!

I find it very very hard to blog on the new blog-thing-document (whatever you call it).  Its so white and grey and orange.  GOOGLE what happened to the color in life? ! ?  Couldn't you have added a bit more color in the updates?.... blah.

Anyhow.... I have been wondering on how one manages to track closets?  My clothes are tumbling out of the shelves again, after having been tidied and straightened for the 100th + time.  (Due to trying to see what there is to wear.)

I would love a inventory system or something, but so far have not had much luck... If you know of a way, please share :)
