May the Grace of Our Lord Be with You

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Numbers 6:25-26

Today, I was sewing for awhile after I came home from work. (Sewing is a great opportunity to "sit & think" -- or ponder, rather.) As I sewed, the lyrics of a song kept interrupting my thoughts. "May the grace of our Lord be with you...may you be blameless to the end." - words from Omega by Rebecca St. James.
May the Grace of our Lord be with you. I began to think of the verses in the Bible associated with her lyrics. I'm not as fond of the first verse of her song, but I do like the chorus and the last verse in particular -- perhaps because the last verse is a verse from Jude and the chorus is mainly from Jude & Revelation. (I love it when the lyrics come straight from a verse.)
I looked the song up on you tube, and after listening to it, I began to wonder about blessings. Christendom pronounces "blessings", the Evangelical world says "God bless you", the world blesses a sneeze, but what is a blessing?

Blessings come from God -- Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed....And God granted him that which he requested.
I don't really have anything to add to the whole blessings topic, but here is the song :).
