A Chinese Fortune

We all chipped in to get Chinese food tonight for dinner (it's a little expensive).

And this was one of the fortunes in the Fortune Cookies.

Even though I don't hold to fortune cookies having any significance, this saying was a nice paraphrase of what we are told in the Bible. High demands, eh?

Pure love is a willingness to give

without a thought of receiving

anything in return.
