Evening Meditations

With Nicole's wedding behind me, I am hoping to be more regular in both my studies and blog. Life can change so quickly, and mine has flown by so fast these past 3 months that it seems like one long day. I will post pictured of the wedding, when I have a moment next week.

Tonight I was reading 1 Chronicles 21:15. I found it interesting it is yet another time when the Lord decided to destroy and "repented him". In this case, He had the angel stop destroying.

I like the verse because you see a little glimpse into the Lord's thoughts.

"And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite."

Two things struck me. 1. The Lord was standing watching. 2. the angle didn't destroy everything in an instant, it was a movement.
