A Hidden God

I found it interesting today to learn that God hides himself. I had never really associated hiding with my concept of who God is. I often wonder how very little I know of Him. How deep He feels? Fathomless--and how we grieve Him. Why does He hide himself? I don't know. But this I love, about this verse: the subject line is "thou art a God that hidest thyself the Saviour".

Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
