Nice jean skirts are hard to find. When I find one that I like, I usually wear it to a thread.
They become like friends: old, familiar, and comfy. But jean skirts have a horrible habit of ripping at the back slit.
Well, don't give up hope, because you can save your jean skirt!
This is the best way to save the jean skirt.
(I am sure other patches would work, but there is something about the old Levi leather that marks a patch job with the stamp of approval ;) )
This is Rachel's skirt that I patched up for her, I found some gold thread that I was particularly excited about. (It was actually metal, kept snagging, but it was really neat. I found it in my mom's thread bag.)
