The Thoughts of the Heart, p3

Since its rather an extended topic in my mind, I will probably be on this for awhile, but there is so much to examine. I would also love to read your comments, so email me or post them :).

"And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart,

and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. "

Deuteronomy 6:5

" Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,

and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."

Matthew 22:37

The same commandment, recored twice, in both the Old & New Testament, with one slight difference....

Why the difference?

[A friend pointed out yet another verse....Mark 12:30]

"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,

and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:"
